Privacy Policy
How the launch candidate handles selected files, browser statistics and third-party code.
Files you select
GML Media Toolkit is designed as a local-first browser application. The core image and PDF workflows are intended to process the files you select inside your browser rather than uploading those files to a GML processing server.
Local usage statistics
Totals such as storage saved, files processed, PDF pages processed and downloads are stored in your browser using localStorage. These values stay on the current browser/device unless you clear site data. No database is required for those statistics.
Third-party libraries
This build references pinned JavaScript libraries for PDF, ZIP and HEIC functionality. In the current package those libraries are loaded from public CDNs. CDN providers may receive ordinary web request metadata such as IP address, user agent and requested asset URL. Self-host the vendor files before a privacy-sensitive production launch.
Browser storage and cache
The app may use localStorage, normal browser cache and a service worker for interface functionality. Do not use shared/public devices for confidential work unless you understand the device and browser privacy controls.
Analytics
This package does not intentionally upload selected media files for analytics. If analytics or error monitoring are added later, configure them so file contents are not attached to telemetry.
